Song Experiments

In the summer of 2025, José partnered with Sam Velez and Winston Thayer, two outstanding young musicians at the University of Miami's Frost School of Music, to create Song Experiments — a music project born from a simple desire: to have fun and tell stories about people, societies, and nature. The initial idea was to produce two songs. But the group clicked so naturally that eight beautiful songs came to life, and an album — Song Experiments, Vol. 1 — was released. Accompanied by lyric videos lovingly crafted on a shoestring by Rec Design, the songs found their way around the world. Thousands of listeners from more than 62 countries discovered and embraced them. That response inspired the group to begin work on Volume 2, which is in preparation and expected at the end of 2026.
